Apps we built

Apps we designed and built, live on the app stores.

Vibes is a mobile app development company in Qatar. We build booking, ordering, loyalty, staff and field service apps for established businesses. You get one team for the app, the admin dashboard, the store listings and the updates after launch. Our office is in the Ras Bufontas Free Zone in Doha, and we are registered with the Qatar Free Zones Authority under FZA No. 268.

Most app projects do not fail because of code. They fail because the scope was vague, the admin side was forgotten, or nobody planned for the store review and the yearly iOS and Android updates. This page explains how we handle each of those, so you can judge whether we are the right team before you call us.

How we work as a mobile app development company in Qatar

Every project starts with a planning call. We ask who will use the app, what they need to do in it, and what happens on your side when they do it. A booking is not just a screen. Someone has to confirm it, change it and see it in a report. We write all of that down.

From that call we send a written scope. It lists the screens, the features, the admin functions, the systems we will connect to and what is out of scope. It comes with a price. You know the cost and what you get before any work begins.

Next we design the screens and turn them into a clickable prototype. You and your team tap through it on your phones. This is the cheapest point to change your mind. Moving a button in a design takes minutes. Moving it after the code is written takes much longer.

Then we build. You receive test builds on your own iPhone and Android phone during the project, so you see real progress, not just status updates. When the app is ready, we submit it to the stores and stay with it after launch.

Cross-platform or native app development in Qatar

There are two main ways to build an app for iPhone and Android. Native means two separate apps, one written in Swift for iOS and one in Kotlin for Android. Cross-platform means one codebase, written in Flutter or React Native, that runs on both.

For most business apps we recommend cross-platform. Booking, ordering, loyalty, staff and reporting apps do not need anything that Flutter or React Native cannot do well. One codebase means one team, one set of bugs to fix and one update to ship. That keeps both the build cost and the yearly maintenance lower.

Native still makes sense in some cases. If your app depends on heavy graphics, advanced camera or Bluetooth work, or a feature that Apple or Google has just released, native may be the better choice. We tell you plainly during planning if your app falls into that group. We would rather lose a project than build it on the wrong base.

Between Flutter and React Native, the choice depends on your app and your future team. If you already have web developers who work in React, React Native can make handover easier. If not, Flutter gives very consistent screens on both platforms. We explain the reason for our choice in the written scope.

Arabic and right-to-left layouts in your app

In Qatar, many of your users will read Arabic first. An Arabic app is not an English app with translated text. The whole layout flips. Menus, back buttons, icons with direction, lists, forms and swipe gestures all have to mirror correctly.

We build the app to support right-to-left from the first screen, not as a patch at the end. Numbers, dates, phone numbers and prices are formatted correctly in both languages. Mixed text, such as an Arabic sentence with an English brand name, is tested on real devices.

Content for both languages is managed from the admin dashboard. Your team can update an offer, a menu item or a notification in Arabic and English without a new app release.

The backend and admin dashboard behind the app

The app on the phone is only half of the project. Behind it sits a server, a database and an API that store your users, orders, bookings and content. Many quotes leave this part vague. Ours lists it line by line.

Your team also needs a place to run the business side. The admin dashboard is a web panel where staff confirm bookings, update products, answer requests, export reports and send push notifications. We design it around the people who will use it every day, not around the database.

If you already have an ERP, CRM, point of sale or online store, the app can read from and write to it through its API. If a system has no API, we work with your IT team on the safest way to sync the data. Payment providers are connected the same way.

Publishing on the App Store and Google Play

Apple and Google both review every app before it goes live, and they review every update too. Apps get rejected for missing privacy details, unclear login rules, broken test accounts or screenshots that do not match the app. We prepare all of this before we submit.

We publish under your company's own developer accounts. That means the app, its reviews and its users belong to you, not to us. If you do not have the accounts yet, we create them for you, in your company's name.

We write the store listing text, prepare the screenshots in both languages and answer any questions from the review teams. If a review comes back with a problem, we fix it and resubmit.

Updates after launch

An app is never finished. Apple and Google release new versions of iOS and Android every year, and they change their store rules often. An app that nobody updates will slowly break or be removed from the stores.

After launch we offer support contracts that cover OS compatibility updates, bug fixes, store resubmissions and new features. The team that built the app is the team that maintains it, so nobody has to learn the code from scratch. The exact scope of each contract is agreed in writing.

You own the source code, designs and store accounts once the project is paid. If you later move the app to your own developers, we hand over all access.

What is included

Mobile app development, end to end.

  • Discovery and written scope

We agree the users, features and screens, then send a written scope and price. Nothing is built on a verbal brief.

  • App design and clickable prototype

Screens are designed around your users. You tap through a prototype on your own phone before any code is written.

  • iOS and Android from one codebase

Built with Flutter or React Native, so one team maintains one codebase for both stores.

  • Admin dashboard

A web panel where your team manages users, content, orders, bookings and notifications without calling a developer.

  • Backend and API

The server, database and API that the app talks to, built with Node.js or Firebase, or connected to your existing system.

  • System and payment integration

We connect the app to your ERP, CRM, payment provider or existing database through their APIs.

  • Arabic and English

Full right-to-left layouts for Arabic, with the language switch and content handled from the admin panel.

  • Accounts and push notifications

Logins, user profiles, staff roles and push notifications for offers, reminders and status updates.

  • Store publishing and updates

We prepare the listings, handle App Store and Google Play review, and keep the app updated after launch.

Who it is for

  • Businesses with repeat customers

Restaurants, clinics, salons, gyms and retailers that want customers to book, order or collect points from their phone instead of calling or messaging.

  • Companies with field teams

Contracting, facility management and service companies whose staff need job lists, checklists, photos and customer sign-off on site.

  • Teams stuck on paper and spreadsheets

Departments that run approvals, requests or daily reports by email and Excel and want one app that keeps a clear record.

  • Businesses that already have a website or system

Companies with an online store, ERP or CRM that want a mobile app on top of the data they already hold, not a second system to manage.

  • Founders with a validated idea

Owners who know their market and want a first version in the stores, built so it can grow without a rewrite.

Technology

  • Flutter

One codebase for iOS and Android with very consistent screens on both. A strong choice when you do not have an in-house React team.

  • React Native

One codebase for both stores, written in JavaScript. A good fit when your web team already works in React and may take over later.

  • Node.js

Runs the API and admin backend. Fast to build with and easy to connect to ERPs, CRMs and payment providers.

  • Firebase

Handles logins, push notifications and real-time data without running your own servers. Useful for smaller apps and first versions.

  • REST APIs

The standard way for the app to talk to your backend and to third-party systems. Clear contracts make later changes safer.

  • App Store Connect

Apple's portal for test builds, store listings and review. We manage submissions here under your company's account.

  • Google Play Console

Google's portal for Android releases, testing tracks and store listings. We publish and update the app here for you.

FAQ

Mobile app development FAQs

How much does a mobile app cost in Qatar?

It depends on the scope. The main drivers are the number of screens, the admin dashboard, logins and roles, payments, and the systems the app must connect to. After a short planning call we send a written scope with a fixed price. Our cost guide explains each factor in more detail.

How long does it take to build an app?

It depends on the features, how many systems the app connects to, how fast decisions and content come from your side, and the store review by Apple and Google. We give you a written plan with phases after the planning call, so you know the expected timeline before we start.

Do you build for both iPhone and Android?

Yes. We build one codebase with Flutter or React Native that runs on both iOS and Android. That keeps the cost and the maintenance lower than two separate native apps.

Should our app be native or cross-platform?

For most business apps, cross-platform is the better choice. Native makes sense when the app depends on heavy graphics, advanced hardware features or brand new OS features. We tell you which one fits during planning and explain why.

Can the app be in Arabic and English?

Yes. We build full right-to-left layouts for Arabic and manage both languages from the admin dashboard, so your team can update content without a new release.

Do you publish the app on the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. We prepare the store listings, handle the submission and review process, and publish under your company's developer accounts, so the app belongs to you.

Can the app connect to our existing systems?

Yes. We connect apps to ERPs, CRMs, payment providers and existing databases through their APIs. If a system has no API, we plan a safe way to sync the data with your IT team.

Who owns the app and the code?

You do. Once the project is paid, the source code, designs and store accounts belong to your company. We hand over all access.

What happens after the app is live?

Apple and Google release new OS versions every year, and apps need updates to keep working. We offer support contracts that cover updates, bug fixes and new features.
